CEO’s End of Year Message
To Our Valued Customers and Partners
Coming to the end of 2020, I would like to take a moment to thank our customers, colleagues and partners for your loyalty and support over the past year. This year has had extraordinary impact on businesses, communities, and the economies in all the Nordics and Baltics countries, in which we conduct business.
Despite the challenges of 2020, the year has also given us the opportunity to adapt to our customers’ changing needs and to ensure we continue to offer the best possible service to support our customers’ digitalization journey.
Summary of key initiatives from 2020
Firstly, we have continued to build on the merger, which was announced last year, and we have steadily been unifying our teams and ways of working across the region. We identified the values that guide our daily work and interactions. We believe in succeeding together, we learn and get excited about all things new and we trust and care for each other. I believe these values reflect our culture and the sort of partner we aspire to be for your company!
Secondly, we changed the way we operate internally, by launching our agile organisation model. The objective of our agile operating model is to better align ourselves for the kind of services our customers are seeking from us.
Thirdly, we have brought in new platforms to better collaborate with our customers. We launched the Support Portal in the summer and rolled it out across the Nordics and the Baltics soon after. In September we launched our new Communications Platform, www.idealgrp.com, for us to be able to share our news and communications with you in a modern way.
Supporting local communities
Therefore, one of the key milestones of this year is that we have now completed our first year as a merged business operating in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Estonia.
To recognise especially the challenges that COVID-19 has brought to many local communities, we have this year decided to make donations to local charities that support children’s mental health and well-being with the funds earmarked for customer gifts, to spread goodwill.
The charities are Suomen Icehearts ry (Finland), Maskrosbarn (Sweden), Mentalhelse Ungdom (Norway), Tallinn Children's Hospital (Estonia), and Psykiatrifonden (Denmark).
While saying goodbye to 2020, I look forward to the New Year 2021 and feel certain that next year will only be more exciting, and positive opportunities are waiting for us all.
I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year!
